Scanning for Boards of Elections

Scanning for Boards of Elections

It has been an honor and a pleasure completing some emergency scanning for Ohio Boards of Elections. First came Medina County and then came Lake County. The Boards had a very short period of time to verify the signatures on certain petitions, and then get the petitions digitized and uploaded to the Secretary of State website. ScanWorks to the rescue!

The Medina County Board of Elections sent one Republican and one Democrat to keep an eye on the petitions while we did our work onsite here at our secure facility. At the end of the day, they left with a car full of digitized petitions, 2 flashdrives, and a deadline met. We are honored to have played a role in making that happen.

The Lake County Board of Elections opted to have us do the petition scanning onsite at their office in Painesville. They set up a private area for us to carry out our work. We pulled staples and got the scanners running as quickly as possible. It was a lot of hard work and a very long day. But we met the deadline and we are pleased to have been of service in this thing called democracy.
