NEW! Public Access to Marriage Records in Summit County Ohio

ScanWorks recently had the privilege of being selected to scan the marriage records maintained by the Summit County Probate Court.  Until they were scanned, these marriage records could only be accessed by looking at the original paper records at the Probate Court, or by having a Court employee pull the records up on microfilm.  Each marriage certificate has now been digitally captured and uploaded to the court’s online record system.  To view a certificate, simply visit this website.  Given how much historical and genealogical information these records contain, we are proud to have played a role in making them available to the public.  Now citizens near and far have the same access to this important data.  Records preservation and public data access are roles we value playing in this modern age.  We thank Judge Elinore Marsh Stormer and Court Administrative Lisa Zeno Carano for allowing ScanWorks to be part of this interesting and critically important project.

Please call ScanWorks at 330-322-2988 for further information or for a free sample scan of your records.  Or click here for a Quik Quote.
