ScanWorks Celebrates 15 Years as an Ohio Document Scanning Company

We are so pleased to announce that ScanWorks has arrived at its 15th anniversary.

15 years ago a decision was made by our owner to end the practice of law and start a new line of work. And it has been a roller coaster ride since.

There has been:
– Personal financial uncertainty
– Deadlines that have had us at the office until all hours of the night
– Travels to all parts of the state- often involving a 2-3 hour drive, a 30 minute consultation, and then a 2-3 hour drive home
– Attendance at back-to-back conferences all over the state to have facetime with customers
– Non-stop hardware & software expenses
– Employee turn-over issues
– Upsizing & downsizing heartaches
– Non-stop thoughts how to do things better (boring anyone who will listen)
– The burden of payroll every 2 weeks, facing pressure to raise wages, & caring about overall employee financial & emotional welfare
– OMG this list goes on & on

While there have been difficulties, there has also been:
– Personal growth from having to dig deep and handle new things. Constantly.
– Loyalty from long-term employees that have successfully endured it all
– Support from friends & family through the thick & thin
– Development of knowledge of best practices
– Acquisition of hardware & software to digitize literally anything
– Professional recognition for the quality of our work
– OMG this list goes on & on
