Is There Such a Thing as Cheap Low Cost Document Scanning?

I get asked that type of question all the time–  is it cheap to have tax records scanned– how can I get medical charts digitized without spending too much money– is there a low-cost way to have legal files converted into electronic format– can you offer a cost-effective way to scan nursing home records? And the like.

The answer is usually yes. In fact, I just had a follow-up conversation with a customer in the investment, financial planning, and insurance industry. He obtained several quotes so he could assess the viability of having his firm’s client files digitized. He told that that I have the lowest price in the area! He also told me he is impressed with the quality of our work, the promptness of communication, and the solution I provided to his need to have instantaneous access to his files.

We work with our customers to get their desired scanning project to fit within their budget. And we have many ways of accomplishing that:

We can show customers how to prep their materials themselves (pull staples, remove paperclips, unfold papers, tear pages off legal pads, etc)

We can scan records in bulk (lot of various files scanned together into one pdf, tiff, etc)

We can label their digitized files in an automated fashion if they provide the data to us (like in the form of an excel spreadsheet)

Customers can pick and choose the most important parts of their files to be scanned (and shred the rest)

Customers can spread the cost of their scanning project over a period of months

Customers can drop their materials off at our office

Customers can elect to have all of their papers scanned in black & white (instead of requiring us to stop and start the scanner for pages in color)

And of course we are open to any other suggestions that can bring down the price of a record digitization plan! We are happy to discuss the particulars of any potential document scanning project and get creative. We are here to help. Please call ScanWorks at 234-571-9501 or click here for a quick quote.
